Effective July 2026

Minimal Tracking

We use privacy-focused analytics. No fingerprinting, no personal data sold.

We do not collect names, emails, or any personal data unless you choose to give it.

No Selling

We never sell, trade, or share your information with third parties.

1. Overview

At The Spacetime, we take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to you. Our philosophy is simple: we are here to publish news, not to collect data. We use minimal, privacy-conscious analytics solely to understand how readers engage with our content.

2. Information We Collect

Information You Provide

We only collect what you choose to give us: your name, email, and message when you use our contact form, or your email address if you subscribe to our newsletter.

Automatic Collection

We use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC. Google Analytics uses cookies to help us analyze how visitors use the site. The information generated by these cookies (including your anonymized IP address and browsing behavior) is transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Google uses this information to evaluate your use of the website, compile reports on website activity, and provide other services relating to website activity and internet usage. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google's behalf. Google Analytics anonymizes IP addresses and does not associate your IP address with any other data held by Google.

Our servers also keep temporary anonymized access logs for debugging only. These are regularly rotated and never contain personal data.

3. Newsletter

We offer an optional email newsletter. If you subscribe, we store only your email address and use it exclusively for delivering the newsletter. We never share our subscriber list with anyone. You can unsubscribe at any time with a single click.

4. Contact Form

When you submit a message through our contact page, we receive the information you provide (name, email, phone, and message). This data is used only to respond to your inquiry and is not retained beyond that conversation.

5. Third Party Services

Some articles include images hosted on Imgur and we link to social media profiles. These services operate under their own privacy policies and may collect data independently. We also use Google Analytics (Google LLC) as a data processor for website traffic analysis. Google's privacy policy is available at policies.google.com/privacy. We have no control over third-party practices and recommend reviewing their policies if you have concerns.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or transfer your personal information to outside parties. Google Analytics data is governed by Google's Data Processing Amendment and standard contractual clauses. We may disclose information only when required by law or to protect our rights, property, or safety.

7. Cookies

We set first-party cookies for Google Analytics to distinguish unique visitors anonymously and measure how you interact with our content. These cookies do not identify you personally and cannot be used to track you across other websites.
